Opera Study Course
The Opera Study Course offers Guild members an opportunity for a more in-depth study of opera or classical music. The study class typically meets weekly on Mondays from October through March and features video courses and discussion. For 2009 - 2010, we will be using How to Listen To and Understand Great Music, 3rd edition. This is a series of lectures on CD by Dr. Robert Greenberg. We will meet 12 times and listen to the first 24 lectures of the course. Later lectures will be offered in coming years.
The Opera Study course are available only to Guild members, and there is no charge. Classes start on October 12, 2009.
