Opera in Schools Program for Middle & High School Students: Performance of A Brief History of Root Vegetables

This will be a world premiere performance for middle and high school students of A Brief History of Root Vegetables, written by local composer David Heiser.    The performance will be about 2 1/2 hours in length, including intermission.  Schools must provide their own transportation for the performance.  The performance will take place at the Buena Vista Theatre on the UTSA Downtown Campus.  The exact timing of the performance is not yet known and will be provided at a later time.  Teachers' guides will be available in advance of the performance.  Please contact our educational director with any questions or for further information.
